Openmind: Lessons From Covid-19 for Dealing With an Ageing Society

Covid-19 has brought more awareness of ageing as the virus has a fatality rate greatly influenced by age. For instance, in Pennsylvania nearly twice as many people over the age of 100 have died from Covid-19 than under 45 years old. 

With our lifespans increasing between now and 2100 and our population ageing in general, the pandemic has been a stress test for our ageing society. What countries will be ready and what issues will need to be tackled?
